I am happy to report that it will fit a Samsung galaxy s 5 in a otterbox defender case. In the otterbox my phone measures 3 3/8 in. Wide 6 in. Long and 5/8 thick. It is tight but it fits. On my trek the break and rear gear cables run along the top of the bar. But this does not affect the operation. I like the product. Best Buy, Best Fit! I just tried a different brand of bike bag after a zipper broke on this one, but I’m sending back the new bag and ordering another one of these. I like this bag a lot. It fits tightly on my bike, the pockets are a perfect size, and I can use the pockets while riding because the phone pad doesn’t get in the way of the zippers.
