Tough to install, but perform well Conti’s Ultra Sport 2 tires perform exactly as many reviewers describe — good and bad. They’re very good values, with acceptable weight and reasonably low rolling resistance. On the road they feel pretty comparable to the highly rated Schwalbe One V-Guards I’m replacing. These tires are very difficult to mount onto my stock Syncros wheels on my Scott. I’ve never had issues removing tires, changing tubes, etc, but these guys were practically impossible for me to throw on! I resorted to a mechanic at an event I attended, and the first one couldn’t get it (he was older, and said that he didn’t have the strength to make it work), but the younger one was able to muscle it on.
