Better than imagined – Especially for RubberMaid cart owners This tire and wheel combination (when I purchased it) said it a bearing for a 3/4″ shaft. My RubberMaid cart has a 5/8″ shaft. However, in a review for a similar wheel a purchaser said she had successfully put a sleeve of electrical conduit around the 5/8″ shaft on her cart to get it very close to 3/4″.So, I decide to take a chance on this one. love these wheels I bought these to replace the the two wire spoke wheels on my Horrible Freight welding cart.These are a bit pricey but way better than the extremely poor quality wheels the cart came with.These are nicely made and should last a long time without maintenance, although I would not expect that they would be as long lived if left outside in the elements.To my dismay, the welding cart’s axle shaft was slightly larger than 3/4″.
