The Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller is only for square-taper bottom brackets and SRAM ‘Power Spline’ cranks. The comfortable, vinyl handle is long enough for plenty of leverage but won’t interfere with pedals.
Product Features
Fits all cranks using 22mm x 1 threads and square, tapered bottom bracket spindles
Also fits “Power Spline” cranks from SRAM using the 8mm thread bolt
Strong rotating tip system ensures smooth operation and long life
NOTE: For cranks using the ISIS Drive or Octalink system, use the CCP-44 or the CWP-7
It saved me from buying a new exercise bike! I had become progressively frustrated with my inability to remove/separate the crank arm from the fly-wheel of my recumbent exercise bike. This exercise in futility started shortly after the pedal loosened up and stripped out the threads inside the crank arm! What I thought would be easy, slowly became next to impossible. As a man, I hate to admit defeat, but I knew I needed more than a hammer and screw driver, but I was at a loss of knowing exactly what I needed to finish the job, or where to…
Personally I couldn’t recommend this product enough My bottom bracket became jammed up after one of the sealed bearing cup holders failed and wrapped itself around the axle. I was always intimidated by doing any sort of bottom bracket work on my bike but considering my cheap Walmart bike was purchased specifically so I could familiarize myself with bike repairs, (which are definitely bound to happen with a walmart bike) I purchased this, faced my fears and got to work. I thought for sure the threads would be trashed and it would be a whole…

It is a tool you must have to pull the arm off the crank when using late model components, no doubt about it.As an aside, the CCP-1 has a reversible part that screws into the crank arm, one side less deep than the other and a larger diameter nut for your wrench. It was…
