Perfect solution for ’02 Trek 4500 Used this to put BB7’s on a 2002 Trek 4500 and it all went together with no trouble. Couple of adapters out there, but this one lets you mount brakes directly to the adapter – others enlarge the holes from 43mm to 51mm IS, THEN you add the IS-to-post adaptor that comes with your brakes, THEN the brake.
