I installed a pair of these of my electric Xcursion Xtreme mountain bike four months ago and have covered just shy of 2,000 miles without any flats at all, that’s amazing. Much easier to mount than expected I bought a 20×1.75 Schwalbe Marathon Plus tire for my new recumbent trike. After reading all of the reviews, I was expecting a struggle to mount it. It actually only took me a few minutes with no tools, just my not-so-strong bare hands. The tire also didn’t feel as heavy as I expected, although that may be due to the smallish size. The tire is rated for 50-70 PSI, I’ll probably run it at 60 PSI for a mixture of pavement and stone dust riding. I’ll edit my review if I have any problems with…
and almost every day I run over glass shards and other sharp objects that could easily give me flat with any other tire I bike commute in San Francisco, and almost every day I run over glass shards and other sharp objects that could easily give me flat with any other tire. However, this tire continues to take abuse and come out absolutely unscathed. In over 1 and a half years of daily commutes, I haven’t gotten a *single* flat. I once ran over a large staple that got stuck in the tire (and rode with it in there for a few blocks), but no flat. These are worth every single cent – I would be happy to pay double for…
