I was glad to see how much he loved his gift, but even more happy to see how much he appreciated the safety aspect. I ordered this glove and pad set for my oldest grandson, so that he could enjoy his bike and roller skates safely. I was really impressed with how great all 3 items fit him, as well as how easy it was to convince him he needed to wear them. He likes the set so much, he plays dress up in them for no apparent reason at all. While waiting to receive it, I was wondering whether the pads would be labeled for which location they were for. So basically the whole set is useless. Should my son ride his bike with only … Quality control was lacking on the knee and elbow pads. One of the straps on the knee pad was half the length as the remaining knee and elbow pads. It’s as if the factory worker reached the end of the elastic strap roll and only had a nub left and figured what the hell, I’ll save the company money by using this little nub of elastic rather than throw it away even though its too short and I’ll just sew it on the knee pad anyway.
