Excellent value I am so thankful that I got rid of my “hanging” bike rack for a platform rack. I will never look back.PROS:1) Four bikes really do fit.2) The bikes feel VERY secure. Best Value for your Dollar Platform Bike Rack! I purchased this rack back in 2013 and it is a great bike rack. In reading the critical reviews, I can see their point but some of it is over the top. I will admit that the sway is annoying and the rack is pretty heavy (which is a good thing too providing more stability). I corrected the swaying by eliminating the hitch screw in lock. This system they provide allows to much play between the vehicle receiver and the actual hitch of the bike rack. I went to Ace Hardware and found a hardened…
Great rack Just installed it today…holds bikes great!Pros: I have all carbon frame road bike and then we have my 4 year olds bike with training wheels. So there was enough clearance to put these right next to each other with no interference at all! Also plenty of padding on top clamp that holds down on my carbon frame (gentle but still super secure). Also there was plenty adjustment to put both these bikes right next to each other.
