Works well on my son’s cheap 5 speed Mongoose bike I purchased the 5 speed version of the shifter.This was a good replacement shifter in that my son was not able to shift gears before, and now he can. However, I don’t think this is really compatible with the TD One derailleur that is on the bike. Of the five gears, he can get 1 and 5 and usually 3 but it doesn’t quite line up with the others.
