Works well on my son’s cheap 5 speed Mongoose bike I purchased the 5 speed version of the shifter.This was a good replacement shifter in that my son was not able to shift gears before, and now he can. However, I don’t think this is really compatible with the TD One derailleur that is on the bike. Of the five gears, he can get 1 and 5 and usually 3 but it doesn’t quite line up with the others. Probably should get him a better derailleur but I think he will grow out of the bike soon and I didn’t want to waste the money. This…
Bought to replace the original on my 6 speed Schwinn Cruiser. My derailleur and cassette are Shimano, and this is compatible with that. My original one was very similar, and also SRAM. I only replaced it since it broke on me due to old age / wear and tear.This is basically the same model as the original on my bike, though they have improved them since the original one was made.
