Best tape for a good price I purchased this handlebar tape to rewrap the grips on my road bike. In the past, I have really liked using Lizard Skin for the cushion and grip but honestly it has just gotten to expensive in my opinion. I could no longer see paying over $30 to rewrap the handlebars. Get a grip!!! This is a good tape at a great price. My experience with this product comes from wrapping a 44cm road handlebar that was padded on the top section with some Fi’zi:k gel pads. I had just enough tape to complete the wrap. Before installing I measured the tape and it was 79″ or 200.66cm long. I tried to maintain an overlap of about half of the width of the tape.As others have commented this tape is very forgiving so rewraps are easy if you’re not happy with your first attempt.
