and needed the extra leg extention for a comfortable pedal stride I purchased the 7/8 by 16 in long extended seatpost for a vintage 1982 Hutch expert BMX bike that I picked up for a price that I could not turn down. However the fact that I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh 200 pounds I needed an extended seatpost in order to ride this 20 inch framed bike.
