Spend the extra money, its worth it! I Love this brake controller. I’ve been messing around with cheaper units including some by Tekonsha, this one is worth the extra cost hands down. Wish I had found it sooner. Very smooth application of brakes, no jerking of the trailer/truck (I use it for horse trailers so this is very important). I love the ability to one-button change the “boost” settings (really ideal for horse trailers as the weight of the trailer changes considerably between empty, one horse, and two horses)…
