Triple 8’s THE Certified Sweatsaver Helmet for Skateboarding, BMX, Roller Skating, and Action Sports offers comfort and safety with high impact-absorbing EPS foam, and thick dual-density soft foam Triple 8 Sweatsaver fabric liners. Dual certified to comply with US CPSC Bike and ASTM F-1492 skate safety standards, it’s the ideal helmet for biking, skateboarding, inline skating and rollerblading, roller skating, roller derby, scooters, BMX, and other action sports. Two sets of moisture-wicking, stink-free Sweatsaver liners in two different sizes are included for a customized fit. The plush terrycloth liners attach with Velcro and can be removed for washing. Chin strap is adjustable, and fastens with a side release squeeze buckle. The Triple Eight THE Certified Sweatsaver Helmet is available in three sizes: XS/S fits 20 – 21.25 in (51 – 54 cm), S/M fits 21 – 22.5 in (53 – 57 cm), L/XL fits 22.5 – 23.5 in (57 – 60 cm). This helmet is pretty comfortable, breathable I bought this helmet after a nasty fall and a close call with what could have been a threatening head injury. It came with two sets of the “Sweatsaver” liner, which are removable via velcro. They are different sizes, one larger and one smaller. The most comfortable certified skate/bike helmet. This is for sure a great helmet, and I feel good about the safety rating. But I bought the adult small/medium for my 11 year old son (who has a normal 11 year old sized head) and the helmet is too tight when he wears both of the thicker pads together. He came up with “a work around” and he wears one thick pad with one slimmer one and it fits well… but until he figured that out, I was pretty bummed because the pads do get really sweaty and he really does need to exchange them out to…
