Great bars so far, be aware of unusual dimensions A word of caution for those who might be unfamiliar, these are slightly unusual dimensions for drop bars, most notably the 22.2 mm (7/8″) grip diameter. This is the standard grip diameter of mountain and BMX bars, and has been a fairly common size for steel drop bars in the past, but these are aluminum alloy. Great price! Better than expected. The central 25.4 mm area is wide and thick enough for my aerobar clamps. Mountain bike V brake levers (with flexible plastic clamps) fit on and around the curve. Such angled levers require way too much reach when mounted up front, so I moved them to the top. The handlebar is surprisingly light. The black coating did not get scratched when I slid and rotated the brake levers on. Now I can convert a rigid mountain bike into a long distance 26er road bike.
