The AmazonBasics Hitch Cargo Carrier is well made and very solid. The tongue which fits into the vehicle receiver is made from 1/4″ steel which is very strong. The welds on the baskets overall appear very good.I had thought about giving this unit 4 stars because of the distance the carrier is from the back bumper of the truck.
