I put wheels from a jogging stroller on my aluminum brake so I can move it around by myself. The setup works great, but it is a lot of weight on the wheels (over 200 lbs). Measure Your Rims Before Buying I’m a pretty big guy weighing in at 300lbs, and i’ve been using the 26in. tubes for 3 years on two different bikes- a Giant Boulder, and a Mongoose MGX element. There’s something important that the manufacturers neglected to take into account. The rims on my Boulder are 1-1/4″ wide(that’s outside to outside), while the rims on my element are only 1″ wide.
