Weak metal… I bought the Alien II as I’m just getting back into biking after a 15 year break. When I used to ride I carried the Alien I with me and used is frequently. The Alien II seemed great when I received it but the first time I needed it while riding with my kids to fix a problem on one of my kids bikes, the metal piece shattered from low torque from one hand… You would expect a tool like this to use a higher quality metal that doesn’t shatter on first use.
