Perfect for 2 bikes I love this hitch mount. I haven’t had any issues with it. It is a little difficult to get the holes to line up when you are using the pin to lock it in upright position or taking out the pin so you can open the trunk but I suppose that is so it doesn’t come loose while driving. I have not been able to remove the pin if there are bicycles on the rack because the weight pushes down on the pin and there’s no way its coming out so don’t expect to get into the trunk when there are bikes on the…
Fantastic rack for the price We purchased this rack as we liked the appearance and reviews and were not inclined to spend $250-300 dollars on a Yakima or Thule alternative. A month in and we’re very happy with our decision. The rack is rock solid, the clasps hold bikes firmly in place, the hitch attachment (even for a 2-inch hitch) is solid metal, and the fact that extras like the hitch lock, lock, and straps are included is an additional plus.
