Fantastic rack for the price We purchased this rack as we liked the appearance and reviews and were not inclined to spend $250-300 dollars on a Yakima or Thule alternative. A month in and we’re very happy with our decision. The rack is rock solid, the clasps hold bikes firmly in place, the hitch attachment (even for a 2-inch hitch) is solid metal, and the fact that extras like the hitch lock, lock, and straps are included is an additional plus. Almost 5 stars, but not quite. I love everything about this, but it could use a few improvements….some of which can be affected by the user.It wobbles a little more than I am comfortable with, but I’m pretty demanding here; some may find it OK. Honestly, I have nothing to compare it to, but I have seen some scary ones on the road and this one never neared that degree.. To snug it up, I added shims in the hitch receiver and (something) at/near the upright locking mechanism. I…
** UPDATE 11/24 **Tyger read my review and have changed the red straps. They are more rubber and a great improvement over the plastic ones. They also added some red reflectors to the rack. They improved their product greatly!I like almost everything about this bike rack. The quality seems great. I used it to transport my bike from the store to home and it held it very well. My only concern was the red plastic straps. They are plastic and they work like a zip tie. This morning…
