Yakima strives to create less waste and consume less energy with their Planet Payback Initiative. In order to reduce environmental impact: uses up to 85 percent post-consumer recycled content and water-based inks; never uses white cardboard, which contaminates water processing facilities with chlorine; and uses a minimum of 30 percent FSC-certified recycled paper in all printed materials. Barely fits on 2013 Toyota Highlander – “kisses” the rear door We just got the Yakima SkyBox Pro 16 for our 2013 Toyota Highlander. Our big concern was if it would fit on the factory crossbars without interfering with opening the rear hatch / door. It was nearly impossible to get a clear answer online. Fits well onto the roof bars of 2010 Subaru Outback with no interference to back door. We bought this for our 2010 Subaru Outback and we love it! The box does not interfere when the back door is fully open, and it fits on the roof bars that are standard on newer Subaru outbacks. Easy to put on and take off, plus the fact you can open it up on either side makes it easy to get to what you need. Most importantly is the solid feel. Need a larger one for an SUV I purchased the SkyBox pro 16s over a year ago. Out of the box, it has some minor damage where the clamps were mounted to the box. It looks to be a manufacturing flaw. Too big to replace so I kept it. I use it on our Toyota 4runner SUV. It looks too small on this vehicle. Wish I would have purchased something a bit larger. INSTALLATION: I like to do it myself.
