Sometimes it isn’t just about the price. I bought this backpack exclusively for running. I needed something capacious and with compression, chest, and waist straps, and this easily fit the bill based just on that criteria. But there is an abundance of other great features that were added bonuses (covered at length in better reviews than this one), and this is a very intelligently designed backpack. Not perfect but a good bag for the price & purpose I find it useful, the weight is ok, I’ve been able to jog 6.5 miles to my job with it and it performed just fine. The price for this backpack was fine as well. I like the colors also. One con I have is I wish it was flat-bottomed as it’s impossible to stand it up when packing it, but I kinda understand that for purposes of running and hiking with it, you do want it to be as slim as possible while still being useful. This pack is great. I’m a female who wanted something small, light-weight but still have pockets for putting things like my phone, wallet, energy gels, water, etc. The main reasons for buying were 1) small but with storage for phone so I can use wireless headphones, 2) waist and chest strap, 3) value-priced.
