Bulky, but solid and reliable This is actually my second “cheap” bike rack. It worked much better than my first. My first rack was the hanging design. The problem with that is Womens bikes don’t properly rest on that design because of the curved bike frame. You can purchase adapters to remedy that problem, but that adds to your setup time. Finished product, loaded up. The strap on the top is just for added safety. It is not needed. Easier to put together than it first appears when you open the box LOL. We have 2 Schwinn bikes (Not extremely light, but not too heavy, either). I put this together in about an hour….attached it to the back of my camper and loaded the bikes…strapped them on and went on a trip to the beach (about 2 hours). It worked just as advertised. The bikes were secure. The con is that this unit does not fold up, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. It takes up very little room if you remove the…
