Managed to work, but just barely With these tools I was able to take apart the bottom bracket of an 8-year-old old cheapo Schwinn bike, but just barely.The metal is a lot softer than you would find on a decent set of socket wrenches.The tip of the screw on the crank extractor got mushroomed, and the hex flats on the bracket removerstarted to get rounded when I used a good Craftsman 24mm wrench on them.These tools were good enough for my one-time needs, but if I was working on a more valuable bike, or…
