It works okay – but not for all vehicles. I have had this bike rack for a number of years and it has served me well for the price I paid. One thing I noticed right off is that the thumb screws that are used to adjust and tighten will easily strip. For this reason, I do not collapse it back/fold it – I leave it in the position that it has when mounted on my vehicle. I think 3 bikes is really a stretch for this rack – I usually have 2 on it and have to use the inner and outer with the middle empty. For this reason, I am glad I bought…
