Commuter Road Bike Got the bike today and it was easy to put together. The component parts (brakes) are cheap but I expect it to be for the price. The frame is worth the $150.00 price tag. So I’m fine with it. The wheels are good like the other post claim. It would be wise to buy better tires because I can tell that the tires are cheap and one rock will pop right through it. So invest in new tires as well ( I bought Vittoria Zaffiro 700x25c tires. Note that it doesn’t come in pairs. So you gotta order…
With proper expectations, this is probably the best bike you can buy for the money Love this bike. It is light, responsive, and fun to ride. And it’s light. Did I mention it’s light? I think it’s a great value. Unless you have the time/space/inclination to truly hone it yourself, I would recommend taking it to your local bike shop to get the wheels trued, and have them double check your work.
