Great product! I have had a similar bike hangers before and this one works very similarly. Just like others, you will have to use a 1x4x4 or 2x4x4 and lag screws to provide structural support to the hangers if your ceiling joists don’t run the same direction as you are mounting your hangers. Works great. So I’ve owned this while now.Install: pretty easy but need some DIY skills and tools. I did without a 2nd person but that would be nice. You will need a ladder, stud finder (unless naked studs available), marker, wood screws, electric screw driver, drill bits and maybe also lag bolts. The screw hardware that comes with it really isn’t great, I didn’t use it. ALSO depending on what direction your studs run you might need a 2×4 board. On mine 1 was installed in a support beam directly…
